On 20 October 2026, French journalist Didier Labouche, founder of the Georama publishing house, was awarded the “Oltin Qalam” (“Golden Pen”) National Award at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in France. Didier Labouche and Galina Polonskaya, a correspondent for Euronews, were also appointed honorary members of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan.
